LAURA WAKE - RAMOS 

This studio project was a design-build project to create a 3'x3' outdoor drawing studio made from all recycled materials.  The studio had to be portable, weather-resistant, have a drawing surface, and a window to draw the outdoors.  My group had three members, and we collected a variety of reclaimed wood, aluminum cans, plastic trash bags, plastic grocery bags, plastic bottles, and paper coffee cups.  Our studio featured a pull-down drawing surface, plastic bottle gutter system with aluminum can ties, and an ergonomic chair.  It was quite comfortable to draw in the studio for an hour, because the plastic bags made great insulation.
